Present Perfect — Holiday Dialogue

Richard:

Jack:

Jack:

Our French teacher? I haven't seen him yet.

Richard:

I saw him in the corridor a couple of minutes ago. His lesson has already started. We're late.

Jack:

Oh well, it's our first day back, and I've never been late before. Did you have a good time?

Richard:

I stayed at home. The weather's been awful here. I think this is the worst spring we've ever had. As a matter of fact, this is the first day we've had any sun. And now we're back at school.
